往生

The future life, the life to which anyone is going; to go to be born in the Pure Land of Amitābha.

(1) 往相回向 To transfer one's merits to all beings that they may attain the Pure Land of Amitābha.

(2) 還相回向 Having been born in the Pure Land to return to mortality and by one's merits to bring mortals to the Pure Land.
